Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?
- Be part of the stress analysis and calculations team
- Perform Stress Analysis and Calculations for piping systems according to ASME B31.3 and NORSOK L-002 requirements
- Collaborate with other disciplines such as process, safety, mechanical and internally with piping discipline
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Bachelor’s in engineering
- At least 5 years’ experience with pipe stress analysis
- Preferably Oil & Gas experience in the North Sea
- Good knowledge of piping systems and pipe supports
- Good knowledge of ASME B31.3, NORSOK L-002, PD5500 and DNV RP-D-101. Experience in use of EN 13480 is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Caesar II software
- Experience with flange leakage issues and fatigue analysis of piping
- Fluent in English both verbal and written. Norwegian language is a plus
Work location: Fornebu (Oslo) or Stavanger
Contract duration: April 2025 with option for extension
Visa: Only candidates with a valid working visa for Norway can be considered for this position
