Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. What will you be doing?
- Follow up on electrical procurement packages and status against plan and milestones
- Coordinate with suppliers and review documents and drawings
- Provide engineering input to job packages and perform as-built of supplier drawings
- Responsible for electrical system engineering and calculations, including short circuit calculations
- Report to discipline lead, engineering manager, and DTR on important matters
- Ensure identification of changes and input to change requests
- Conduct offshore surveys and general field electrical engineering work
- Perform technical procurement activities and prepare installation job cards
- Coordinate and collaborate with suppliers and clients
- Perform estimation work and planning activities
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Offshore courses, FSE and Ex courses to be able to travel offshore
- Proficiency in Norwegian is beneficial, and fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements
- Experience in supplier coordination and follow-up
- Experience with as-built of tags and drawings
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Relevant education (vocational certificate, associate degree, or university degree)
- Proficiency in TIME, MIPS, STiD, Febdok, MS Office, STIDele, STIDcable, Procosys, Navisworks, and Copilot
