NES Fircroft are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer for a major nuclear project based in Surrey. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of all project activities, particularly focusing on nuclear projects, power plants, and turbine generators.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans and procedures for the project.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the quality control processes for nuclear projects, power plants, and turbine generators.
- Prepare and review quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, quality plans, and reports.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for final handover.
- Participate in plant preparation, outage work, and repairs, ensuring all activities meet quality and safety standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to resolve quality issues.
- Proven experience in QAQC roles within nuclear projects, power plants, and turbine generators.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles and practices.
- Experience in preparing plant, outage work, and repairs.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Additional Information:
- This position is inside IR35, and the contract will be for 12 months.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
