The project is led from Stord.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
- Being responsible for the planning phase of a project.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop project timelines, schedules, and budgets.
- Help manage the resources required for a project: coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure that resources such as equipment, supplies, and personnel are available when needed.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and project status reports.
- Help facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. This may include scheduling and coordinating meetings, sending out meeting invitations, and distributing meeting minutes.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project and work with the Project Manager to develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses and ensure that the project stays within budget.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards by monitoring progress, identifying and addressing issues, and reviewing project outputs.
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Lack of education can be compensated with relevant work experience.
- Some experience in Document Control is an advantage.
- Being structured & systematic.
- Good ability to collaborate & communicate in team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Norwegian and English.
- Knowledge in use of core applications.
- Skills in MS Office 365 (MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Planner, MS Power BI, MS Teams, MS SharePoint).
