To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions is looking for a Method Manager – Multidiscipline who can help us succeed. 
 
What will you be doing? 
 
You will be working as a Method Manager – Multidiscipline together with other colleagues in the department. Your responsibility includes but is not limited to the following: 
  • Ensure that HSSE-optimal method philosophy is established and implemented in early phase and start-up activities are safeguarded
  • Give advice and input to project management regarding Scope of Work split between subcontractors.
  • Lead interface with other projects, cooperate with base organization and other project to obtain an efficient yard utilization and avoid conflicts between projects.
  • Establish and manage Manpower Projection Plan (MPP)
  • Provide bi-weekly resource forecast to Department Manager
  • Responsible for budgeting & progress reporting
  • Define relevant governing documents and secure that team work accordingly
  • Lead team and distribute tasks
  • Manage the main-, discipline-, and detailed methods
  • Manage the constructability process, prepare documents, and arrange reviews /studies and assure implementation in design.
  • Coordinate method with Engineering-, Procurement-, Plan, and secure implementation of methods in schedules.
  • Organize and lead Method Engineering meetings and other relevant meetings as required. -Develop an overall main Method, and present method in project to secure ownership and implementation in the project organization.
We think you should have some of the following: 
  • Bachelor’s degree / Master Degree.  Lack of education can be compensated with relevant work experience
  • Minimum 10-15 years, Installation, construction or method management experience preferably in an EPC project in Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience from Study, FEED, Tender & project execution phases
  • Experience from execution medium / high complexity EPC/EPCI/ FC projects.
  • Multidiscipline understanding (process, piping, insulation, field instrumentation)
  • Structured & systematic, Good leadership skills
  • Good ability to collaborate & communicate in team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills both in Norwegian and English.
  • Software Skills: Microsoft office tools, PEM, MS Planner, MS Teams MS SharePoints etc.

Work location:                Fornebu, Norway or Stord, Norway
Start date:                     Asap
Duration:                       1 year - with options for extension
