We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing? 
  • Work with insulation and surface engineering across business segments in a wide variety of projects 
  • Ensure fabrication and installation activities are in accordance with relevant requirements, priorities and goals of the project 
  • Coordinate with material logistics and handling 
  • Continually strive for good HSSE/Quality performance throughout the work 
  • Seek improvement of work processes and products within own responsibility area 
  • Interface and cooperation with project team members, subcontractors/vendors and client as necessary 
  • Ensure compliance with all client and regulatory codes, standards and procedures in the execution of the work 
  • Visit project sites and sub suppliers for inspection of technical insulation quality

Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
  • Relevant technical education (BSc or MSc) and / or Trade certificate within relevant area (Insulation, Surface Preparation, Coatings or Welding) is preferred. 
  • Preferred minimum 5 years relevant experience in ISO. 
  • Preferred experience using MIPS/PDMS.Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations, e.g. NORSOK M-501 and NORSOK M-004. 
  • Good cooperation skills and interest for working in multidiscipline team. 
  • Software Skills: TIME, MIPS, Microsoft office 
  • Available for work in Norway
  • Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
