The role is based in Bergen, with the option to work from Aker's offices in Stavanger or Trondheim.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
What will you be doing?
- Lead Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs and develop corrosion management strategies.
- Address material degradation, corrosion challenges, and inspection needs for offshore equipment.
- Perform RBI assessments, Fitness-for-Service (FFS) evaluations, and inspection planning.
- Provide technical support for installations on the Norwegian continental shelf and internationally.
- Manage suppliers, budgets, and cost control processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and optimize maintenance programs.
- Strong expertise in corrosion, material degradation, and inspection planning.
- Experience with Risk-Based Methodologies, Integrity Engineering, and Fitness-for-Service (FFS).
- Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, RAMS, Industrial Asset Management, or Materials Technology (relevant experience may compensate).
- Solid knowledge of NS 415-1 Level 1 material degradation standards.
- Certifications in Asset Management, API 580, and API 571.
- Fluency in written and spoken Norwegian.
- Proficiency in SAP, WORKMATE, COMOS, TIME, PYRAMID, Meridium CMMS, and Bluebeam.
