Aker Solutions take care of energy assets from a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?
  • Obtain detailed knowledge of the assigned scope of work for own discipline.
  • Prepare discipline input to complete the design basis in the start-up period for the assigned scope.
  • Manage and coordinate work done by additional team members from own discipline.
  • Ensure that the scope of work for own discipline is clear and understood by additional team members from own discipline, when relevant.
  • Ensure clear interfaces towards suppliers and subcontractors with respect to discipline scope of work.
  • Establish and maintain the activity schedule for own discipline activities.
  • Perform estimation work and settle plan activities.
  • Ensure interface with other engineering disciplines and follow-up clarifications.
  • Establish and maintain the discipline material budget (MTO) for own discipline, if relevant.
  • Establish and maintain the document development schedule for own discipline.
  • Implement approved changes into the discipline schedule.

Qualifications we think you should have:
  • BSc or MSc in relevant subject
  • Experience and knowledge of relevant design rules, regulations, and standards
  • Knowledge of NORSOK and relevant standards/regulations for NCS.
  • Project-specific software skills: MIPS, Procosys, STID, TIME
  • Senior level Instrument experience
  • English and Norwegian language

Work location:
Bergen, Norway
Contract duration: 1 year with option for extension
