As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for:
HSSE Advisor with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
This position is based in Stord with a 14/21 rotation.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
- Support the Project HSSE Manager in overseeing HSSE activities at the construction site.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HSSE activities at the construction site.
- Report any undesired incidents promptly.
- Guide personnel in adhering to HSSE rules.
- Conduct daily follow-up work at the construction site and collaborate with line managers.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Highly desirable with both practical and technical backgrounds. Basic education in the working environment. Lack of formal education can be compensated with extensive and relevant HSSE experience.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
- Familiar with relevant IT tools, including Office 365 tools, Synergi, ProArc, TIME, CCS, PIMS, etc.
- Experience in external environments.
- Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and relevant standards.
- Good understanding of production and completion activities.
- Gas measuring qualification (for Yard work only).
- Structured and systematic with strong leadership skills.
