Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?
- Plan and prepare for load-out operations of topside
- Corporate with construction to get equipment and trailing route in place before load-out
- Help with documentation for load-out operation
- Follow up tasks regarding load-out operations
- Prepare the documentation and manuals necessary for the planning and execution of marine operations
- Prepare methods for transport and lifting of heavy units
- Participate in construction meetings and assist construction through marine operations and marine related operations in construction
- Act as point of contact towards subcontractors/ construction for marine operations
- Technical support to Engineering and Construction
- Establish and update technical register and mapping structure
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Higher university degree
- Theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of structural analysis and calculation
- Good common knowledge towards external parties in marine operations
- Good common knowledge towards other disciplines
- Solid understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Familiar with load-out operations
- Experience in leading load-out operations or participating in several
- Familiar with preparations and documentations needed for load-out operations
- Skills in Staad-Pro, Sesam, StruProg and Mathcad.
- Solid command of the English language, both written and spoken
