The project is led from Stord and is operated in 14/21 day rotation.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
- Verify engineering and vendor-documentation and give feedback to suppliers on lack of information and discrepancies.
- Ensure that the building method is implemented in the EIT shop engineering.
- Divide up work packages so that one gets the best efficiency in the production.
- Verify the location and installation and HSSE friendly design in the 3D model, PDMS.
- Follow up the DCN’s so that these are implemented in the work packages.
- Prepare EIT work packages.
- Verify interface against all disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production, and planning department.
- Continually strive for good HSSE performance throughout the work.
- Interface towards IT/IS related to engineering register, E3D/ Navis and MIPS.

Qualifications we think you should have:
- Knowledge of and experience with the DAK-tool.
- General good knowledge of basic computing.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Lack of education can be compensated with relevant experience.
- Valid FSEL course, First aid (practical) and EX course are required.
- Knowledge with the “as-built”-drawing and mechanic interface-drawing.
- Skilled in MS Office 365 (MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Planner, MS Power BI, MS Teams, MS SharePoint).
- Experience in MIPS, Navis and E3D.
- Fluent in English and any Scandinavian language, both verbal and written.
- Must have valid EX, FSE and First Aid (practical) certificates.
