Discipline Lead - Method – Service with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
What will you be doing?
- Act as the main contact person for the discipline internally and externally per project
- Ensure methods are followed in all project phases and coordinate technical outputs
- Lead the discipline team, manage schedules, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
- Oversee discipline work processes and ensure team collaboration
- Delegate tasks within the group and ensure HSSE-friendly design in work preparation
- Report progress and maintain discipline method statements
- Arrange group meetings, provide lessons learned, and write experience reports
- Participate in continuous development of work processes and efficiency measures
Qualifications we think you should have:
- You are fluent in Norwegian and English
- You have good knowledge of work processes within the discipline you lead
- You have a minimum of 2 years' experience from EPC processes within Topside and facilities/Renewable Segments
- You are proficient in MS Office 365, Method Planner, Visual Construction Planning, Autodesk NavisWorks Manage, Aveva E3D Design, Constructability Engine, AutoCAD, MIPS, and E3D
- You are a proactive team player with strong leadership and communication skills
