- Creating plans for pressure equipment.
- As needed: Developing technical specifications and validating vendor documentation.
- Knowledge of pressure equipment.
- Familiarity with ASME code.
- Previous experience in an engineering service for pressure equipment.
- Technical English (professional reading/writing).
- Proficiency in Solidworks and/or Microstation for creating sketches/plans for pressure equipment.
On Project: For all pressure equipment the specialist works on:
- Ensure the technical definition of pressure equipment.
- Perform mechanical pre-dimensioning (calculations according to ASME code), 2D or 3D design, and prepare plans (sketches or detailed plans) using drawing software (Microstation and/or Solidworks).
- Prepare technical documents necessary for purchasing this equipment.
- Validate the technical compliance of received offers with the tender documents.
- Establish technical comparisons of proposals from suppliers.
- Review supplier documentation (plans, calculation notes, welding books, procedures).
