We are looking for a Control Systems Software Engineer to strengthen HMH team. Join HMH in their quest to solve tomorrow’s challenges and innovate their future!

HMH is a leading provider of equipment and services in the oil, gas, and mining industries. They are currently developing an innovative system to analyse data from advanced sensors to enhance the safety and efficiency of drilling operations.

HMH is seeking a skilled Control Systems Software Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be the stakeholder in developing, improving and delivery of high-quality solutions for HMH products and services to their customers. HMH digital solutions in the Drilling Control and Monitoring System (DCMS) segment are crucial for our delivery of the whole range of their process control and automation deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the contact and responsible person for programming DCMS Control System on many of HMH top side products.
  • Planning, document and organization of deliveries.
  • Hold close cooperation with the after marked organization which is responsible for the daily operation of the installed base.
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders in the team, department and HMH as a global company.
  • Provide technical assistance and understanding to our marketing and sales team.
  • Be a strong part in the establishment and maintenance of our road-map for assigned products and systems.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as Control Systems Software Engineer.
  • Strong competence with programming of DCMS Control Systems with Simens PLC.
  • Strong proficiency in programming in Simatic S7 / TIA portal / Cimplicity.
  • Fluent in English both oral and written.
  • Available to start asap.

Workplace: Kristiansand, Norway
Contract duration: 6 months with option for extension
