As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a: Senior Reliability and Maintenance Engineer (Hugin A project) with experience of onshore or offshore projects.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing? 
 
  • Conducting Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) to identify failure modes, their causes, and consequences
  • Implementing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies to develop optimized maintenance plans
  • Evaluating criticality and risk levels of equipment and systems Knowledgeable of consequence classification studies to assess the potential impact of failures or accidents on safety, environment, and operations
  • Recommending appropriate maintenance strategies based on consequence analysis, FMECA, and RCM results
  • Creating relevant Preventive and Condition-based Maintenance Program
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to implement risk mitigation measures and improve asset integrity

Qualifications we think you should have: 
  • MSc. or BSc with relevant experience
  • Expertise in consequence classification and risk assessment methodologies
  • Familiarity with Failure Modes, Effects, Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) processes
  • Ability to assess and classify potential consequences of equipment failures
  • Knowledge of maintenance strategies and optimization techniques
  • Software Skills: FMECA, CMMS tools and especially SAP Maintenance
  • Fluent in English both oral and written. Ability to read and write in Norwegian is requested for this position.
     
Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway 
Contract duration: August 2026 with option for extension
