What You Will Be Doing: As a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE), you will take charge of the technical aspects of manual valve procurement. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing technical requisitions and specifications for the procurement of valves and piping components.
- Managing technical follow-up of deliveries, documentation, and suppliers.
- Handling technical queries and maintaining valve and piping specifications.
- Managing the specification of piping special items.
Who You Are: We’re seeking someone with:
- Strong experience in piping valves and piping engineering.
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards and specifications used in the North Sea, such as ASME B31.3, EN 13480, Pressure Equipment Directive, and EN 13445.
- A general understanding of computer technology to support technical processes.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in Manual Valve PRE (Package Responsible Engineer).
- Familiarity with North Sea specifications and codes.
- Experience with ASME B31.3, EN 13480, Pressure Equipment Directive, and EN 13445.
- A commercial mindset and excellent communication skills.
