Volume Staffing Support in Asia Pacific

Founded in 1841, our client is a global EPC providing systems, products and services to source oil and gas, offshore wind and CO2 capture across 20 countries. Initially partnering with NES Fircroft in the US in 2006, we have since expanded our services to cover UK, Angola, Malaysia, Norway, Singapore, UAE and China.

THE CHALLENGE

The client was awarded the Mero 3 FPSO (Petrobras) project in Malaysia and required workforce cohesion on large work scopes across different geographies. The client worked simultaneously across multiple international projects and required a compliant and seamless solution to recruit and manage the logistics of their contractors.

THE SOLUTION

We were able to leverage our existing relationship, success and comprehensive understanding of our client’s needs and processes to effectively tailor our solution.

Additional Support

We successfully mobilised locals and expatriates to meet each project’s needs and deadlines, through:

Ensuring that all in-country statutory obligations and compliance were met

Delivering a stable, orientated workforce for the client to focus on delivering the work scopes on time and within budget

Allocating expert technical consultants to the account to source and onboard personnel on a contractual and permanent basis

Dedicating eight expert NES Fircroft personnel to the account and placing them on-site with the client, with four additional employees off-site

Conducting recruitment campaigns through LinkedIn and assessment centre days

THE RESULTS

Across the Asia Pacific region we successfully onboarded and mobilised 400+ contractors and permanent personnel, ensuring all were site-ready, with a 100% compliance rate for all documentation.

We have a 100% success rate for visa / work permit applications and expatriate mobilisations on the project
